Job Description:

Rogue Valley Times, a digital and print media organization committed to "digital first, then print" coverage of Medford, Oregon and the surrounding area, is seeking advertising account representatives to help guide this new venture to success.

Must have a strong sales background, preferably in the print or digital media industry. The main duties will include traveling in assigned territories to meet with potential and current customers, negotiating sales contracts and educating clients about new products, updates and features.

• Be knowledgeable about the product
• Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion
• Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs
• Emphasize the features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems
• Answer questions about the products
• Negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreements
• Maintain contact lists in CRM and follow up with customers to continue relationships
• Communicate clearly with the sale assistant team to ensure accurate placement of advertising
  This is a full-time position, typically working Monday through Friday during business hours, with occasional evening or weekend events.
