for a office supervisor with a desire to better our community! This

children, parents, and coworkers!$42,500.00 starting annual
salaryFull time with full benefits package including 90% employer

a community norm.Job DescriptionAttend to visitors and attend to
inquiries on the phone. Supply information regarding the
organization to the general public, clients and customers. Work as
a liaison between the charter school and the sponsoring school
district.Role and ResponsibilitiesServes as a front-line customer
service representative, acts as assistant to Office and
Communications Manager and support to operations & program.
- Answer, make, and direct phone calls.
- Take and distribute messages.
- Handle inquiries and incoming work requests.
- Review files and records to answer requests for
information.
- Check and distribute documents and correspondence.
- Receive, log, sort, and distribute incoming mail and shipments
as assigned.
- Compile records of office activities (camera, vehicle keys,
etc.).
- Photocopy, scan, and fax documents and correspondence.
- Send business emails and letters.
- Prepare outgoing mail.
- Translate documents as needed.
- Attendance data entry.
- Organize meetings and appointments as requested.Accounting
- Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash
etc.
- Investigate and resolve customer queries.
- Conduct self in a manner that reflects the philosophy of Kids
Unlimited and encourage others to do the same.
- Accept and process payments as requested.
- Other duties as assigned.Education and/or experienceRequired:
- Minimum: High School Diploma.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred, Certified or
Qualified interpreter preferred.
- One-year experience, using skills in a similar work environment
(preferably education or childcare) with busy phonelines and high
activity level.
- One-year computer experience with demonstrated computer
literacy with Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal communication,
and problem-solving skills.
- Skills to intervene and promote reconciliation, compromise, and
positive outcomes in difficult interactions.Preferred:
- AA degree in business or related field or an equivalent
combination of education and experience preferred.
- Proficiency with billing and conflict management preferred.
Experience working with at- risk children and families preferably
in a school environment.
- Ability to demonstrate and practice in accordance with FERPA
standards of practice.
- Valid Oregon Driver's License and Insurance.Physical
Requirements
- Normal concentration/intensity, which includes prolonged mental
effort with limited opportunity for breaks.
- Normal memory, taking into consideration the amount and type of
information.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25
pounds. Assistance is required above this amount. Specific vision
abilities required by this job include close vision, distance
vision, color vision and peripheral vision.Additional
